MSP 2,3 Motor protection

  • these relays are no longer available, but can be replaced by the MSP-4 Motor protection relay.
More details, on how to do so, can be found here

MSP 4 / C311 Motor protection

  • 3 phase RMS based on avarage measurement
  • Overload protection After powerdown, the therminal capacity is memorized for up to 8 hours, as well as the trip cause. (when there  is one)
  • Trip relay: Inhibit, Stall, Overload, Phase loss, Phase reversal, Ground fault.
  • Auxiliry relay: Overcurrent/Undercurrent detection, Star/Delta
  • Ground fault detection, uses an external core-balance CT, or measures the spill current from the existing (build in) CT's
  • Thermistor input
  • 4-20 mA output

MSP 1000, Motor protection

  • Microcontroller based system. Computer programable (RS232)
  • RMS measurement
  • Eeprom memory: memorizes thermal capacity, statistics and trip causes at all times.
  • Numeric LCD display: displays Readings, Settings and Trip causes

MSP 2000, Motor management and protection

  • All the functions the MSP 1000 offers, and more...
  •  Motor management.Starting, Starting reverse, Stopping, etc.
  • Controls by: The display (local), External switches (remote), or supervisory  computer (telemetrical)
  • Extra contactor inputs to detect failing/frozen contactors.
  • Alpha numeric display: displays Trip-causes, Readings, Settings

RTD 3, temperature- measusement and protection

  • 3 temperatures are continiously measured (by means of PT-100 elements)
  • Trip relay, active then the highest temperature exeeds the (Settable) TRIPLEVEL
  •  Alarm relay, active then the highest temperature exeeds the (Settable) ALARMLEVEL
